Diamondbacks at the plate: Top prospect Justin Upton hit a game-winning grand slam in the bottom of the ninth. Scott Hairston hit his seventh Spring Training homer. Stephen Drew had three hits and an RBI from the leadoff spot. Conor Jackson and Jeff Salazar also homered.

Padres at the plate: Marcus Giles hit his second homer of the spring. Paul McAnulty, who has been fighting a knee problem, had a pinch-hit RBI single and will be ready for Opening Day. Minor League infielder Sean Kazmar hit a three-run blast.

Diamondbacks on the mound: Yusmeiro Petit, making his first appearance for his new club, allowed just one run on three hits in five innings of work, walking one and striking out seven. He was acquired from the Marlins on Monday for reliever Jorge Julio. J.D. Durbin, claimed off waivers from the Twins on Thursday, also made his debut, and allowed a run in his only inning.

Padres on the mound: Starter Clay Hensley left the mound after 1 2/3 innings because of a blood blister but expects to be fine for his first turn of the season. Kevin Cameron, a Rule 5 Draft pick who has made the Opening Day roster, worked 2 1/3 scoreless innings, striking out two.

Cactus League records: Diamondbacks 20-12; Padres 17-14.

The D-backs travel to Coors Field to take on the Rockies on Monday afternoon with last year's Cy Young Award winner, Brandon Webb, taking the hill against Colorado's Aaron Cook. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. MST.

The Padres will be at AT&T Park on Tuesday afternoon to open the regular season against the Giants. Jake Peavy will take the mound against San Francisco's Barry Zito. First pitch is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. PT.
