SAN DIEGO -- Four of the Padres' Minor League affiliates are heading to the postseason.

Double-A San Antonio, which won the first- and second-half titles in the Texas League's South Division, opens the playoffs on Wednesday at home against Frisco, the affiliate of the Rangers.

Class A Lake Elsinore clinched a spot in the California League playoffs. The Storm will visit Inland Empire (Angels) on Wednesday.

Class A Fort Wayne opens the Midwest League playoffs Wednesday against Bowling Green (Rays) at home.

Finally, short-season Eugene of the Northwest League won the first game of its series against Vancouver (Blue Jays) on Monday, 8-3. The teams play again Tuesday.

The Padres' starting lineup on Tuesday against the Giants included five players who started the season in the Minor Leagues -- first baseman Jesus Guzman, left fielder Kyle Blanks, third baseman James Darnell, second baseman Andy Parrino and starting pitcher Wade LeBlanc.
