Street, 29, has gone 2-0 with 21 saves and a 0.75 ERA (3 ER/36.0 IP) in 37 relief appearances this season. The closer has not allowed a run in his last 22 appearances, recording a 21.1-inning scoreless streak that is the longest by a Padre this season and the longest active streak among all NL pitchers. He currently ranks second among all Major League relievers in relief ERA and leads all relievers with a .094 opponent batting average. Over parts of eight Major League season with the Oakland A’s (2005-08), Colorado Rockies (2009-11) and Padres (2012), Street has gone 32-21 with 199 saves and a 2.93 ERA (154 ER/472.1 IP) in 454 career relief appearances.
Shaw, 24, was 0-0 with a 2.25 ERA (2 ER in 8.0 IP), 10 strikeouts and a .207 (6-for-29) opponents average in 8 relief appearances with the Aces in 2012. He also went 1-4 with a 4.26 ERA (18 ER in 38.0 IP) and 2 saves in 43 games with the D-backs before being optioned to Reno on July 22.
Elmore, 25, hit .344 (144-for-419) with 30 doubles, 9 triples, 1 home run, 73 RBI, 74 walks, 95 runs scored and 32 stolen bases in 108 games with Reno this season. He ranks among all Minor Leaguers in runs scored (7th) and walks (10th), and is among the Pacific Coast League leaders in walks (1st), stolen bases (2nd), runs scored (2nd), hits (2nd), on-base percentage (3rd, .442), average (5th, .344) and triples (6th).
The 5-foot-9, 183-pounder was drafted by the D-backs in the 34th round of the 2008 First-Year Player Draft out of Arizona State University. Elmore, who was the starting second baseman on the PCL mid-season All-Star Team, would become the second Sun Devil to play for Arizona in club history, joining Bloomquist.
Elmore will wear No. 14.
Bloomquist, 34, hit .300 (97-for-323) with 21 doubles, 5 triples, and 22 RBI in 79 games with the D-backs this season. He has appeared in 64 games at shortstop, 11 at third base and 1 each at second and left and right field.
Zagurski, 29, was 0-0 with a 6.18 ERA (19 ER in 27.2 IP) in 32 games with Arizona in 2012. He was claimed by the D-backs off waivers from the Phillies on Sept. 22, 2011.
