Could Quentin possibly parlay his hot stretch at the plate into a reserve spot on the National League's All-Star Game roster?
Quentin, second baseman Jedd Gyorko, shortstop Everth Cabrera, first baseman Yonder Alonso, third baseman Chase Headley, catcher Nick Hundley and outfielders Cameron Maybin and Will Venable are listed on the NL ballot.
Entering Monday's series finale in Miami, Quentin was hitting .270 with nine home runs and 25 RBIs in 185 at-bats. He was on the American League All-Star Game roster in 2008 while with the White Sox and again in 2011.
