Chase Headley started the game at third base but left after the fourth inning with stiffness in his back. Logan Forsythe and Alexi Amarista saw time at the hot corner in the fifth and sixth innings.
Jedd Gyorko and Jesus Guzman each saw time there the rest of the game, often flipping back and forth between second base depending on the batter and the situation.
Gyorko and Guzman actually switched between the two positions five times in the final three innings of the game.
