Padres announce spring broadcast schedule


PEORIA, Ariz. -- The Padres announced their broadcast lineup for Spring Training on Tuesday, a schedule that will include 29 games available either by television, radio or audio webcast.

The Padres will have 10 games shown on FOX Sports San Diego -- March 6, 8, 9, 13-14, 18, 20-21 and also the final two exhibition games of the spring, March 28-29 against the Indians at the University of San Diego.

The Padres' radio affiliate, The Mighty 1090, will broadcast 15 games on either 1090 AM or ESPN Radio 1700.

The team will also make audio webcasts available for any game that is not broadcast on FOX Sports San Diego or The Mighty 1090/ESPN 1700. The live audio stream will be available for free on Padres.com, beginning with Thursday's game against the Mariners.

To gain access to the free live audio stream, fans will be required to log in to their free account on Padres.com.

MLB Network will show nine Padres games this spring -- March 3, 6, 8, 12, 15, 19, 20, 24 and 29.
