Holiday Wonderland coming to Petco Park this December

|

SAN DIEGO - It was announced today that Holiday Wonderland is coming to Petco Park this December. The inaugural holiday celebration will light up the ballpark in a way that's never been seen before, with walk-through lighting vignettes throughout the concourse, as well as unique holiday activities for all ages in every corner of Petco Park.

Beginning on Friday, December 5, and continuing for three consecutive weekends, Holiday Wonderland will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday. During the final few nights leading up to Christmas (Monday, December 22 to Wednesday, December 24), Holiday Wonderland will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

"It's a priority for the Padres and the City of San Diego to make Petco Park a year-round facility, delivering on its promise to be more than a ballpark," said Vice President, Petco Park Events Jeremy Horowitz. "Holiday Wonderland will be an extraordinary event for this community, and we can't wait for San Diegans to experience the magic of the holidays at Petco Park."

Holiday Wonderland will offer the opportunity to ride Polar Express trains, explore Candyland, feed live reindeer, discover Santa's workshop and visit with his elves, have a photo taken with Santa, and more.

Adult admission is $15 and child admission is $10. Kids under three will be admitted free of charge. Military, group and event discounts are available. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.padres.com/holiday. Tickets are not date-specific. Once a ticket is purchased, it can be used for any date Holiday Wonderland is open.
